24 square metre patio in Indian sandstone ‘Sahara’ colour shades. The project involved removal of smaller existing patio and recycling materials into base of new. A new step was constructed. All vertical edging for step as well as patio formed from the same new slabs.
A word from the client:
Extension of existing patio to accommodate conservatory.
I cannot recommend Mark highly enough. His professionalism, his attention to detail, his commitment to my project was outstanding. We met to discuss what I needed. Mark arrived with his note book, his tape measure and his level. More importantly he arrived with an open mind, ideas and suggestions. My wife and I had some idea of what we wanted, Mark made it come alive. He went away and did some work and emailed some options. He gave me an estimate which included his labour and all materials. Mark advised me on local deals for purchasing stone slabs for my patio and told me what he thought was best. We went for his most expensive option, which was not to extend our existing patio but to dig it all up and start again. What an ace decision that was. I now have a beautiful, amazing 24 square meter patio that glows with colour and changes with the light. The workmanship is outstanding. The finish is immaculate. his absolute attention to detail, his hard work in the broiling sun is breathtaking. He brought it in within £200 of his original estimate, we did change some things along the way. If you need a stone mason, if you need a patio, if you need a stone built garden feature then look no further. Mark Hamlin is your man. He is also clean and tidy and will keep you updated on the progress of your project.
