Mark rebuilt a rough stone garden wall for me. Its foundations were sound but many of the stones had slipped and weeds were growing out of the cracks. Mark took the wall down, rebuilt it and repointed it. Not only has he done an excellent job but he was a pleasure to employ. He communicated patiently and efficiently with me every step of the way, explaining in detail what he planned to do and why. He told me when he would be working on my wall and he kept to his word. His estimate of the materials and time needed was spot on. He provided me with invoices from the builders' merchant to show the cost of materials used. He supplied some extra stone we needed at minimal cost. And he worked on a Saturday so the wall would be finished before we went on holiday.
