Built for a friend in Castle Cary. The wall’s purpose is to protect the garden from northerly winds. It has a lias stone base but the bulk of the wall is made up of hamstone .This is consistent with the stone-make-up of the farmhouse. A breeze-block backing for additional support, there are built-in ‘bug hotels’ & prominence is given to fossils.
